Where HBO and the Late Show with David Letterman scout for talent

Late Show with Letterman Auditions - Sept. 5th!

Eddie Brill, who's been the audience warm-up and talent coordinator for the Late Show with David Letterman for the last decade will audition comedians at the Clubhouse for the show on Friday, September 5, 2008!! This year's shows will be in the Main Room on the 5th floor at 7pm and 9pm. 10 comedians will be auditioning, doing 7 minutes each. These shows will sell out!! Among this year's comedians vying for a spot: Hasan Minhaj, Ali Wong, Sal Calanni, Joe Tobin, Mark Luncholm, Reggie Steele, Nato Green and Johnny Steele!

The Ali Mafi Show - Every Friday at 7pm, $10!

Ali Mafi has been captivating audiences in stand-up comedy shows for two years, establishing himself as one of the fastest-rising stars in the comedy industry.

However, as is clear to anyone who has ever met Ali, a mere spot in a show isn't enough to satisfy this diva.  The Ali Mafi Show is a variety show featuring stand-up, sketch, fabulous monologues and other segments guaranteed to offer a good time to everyone in the crowd. August 22 - Headliner Debbie Campo, Finalist, Nick at Nite's America's Funniest Mom!

The Comedy Addiction Tour is honoring the Main Room of The Clubhouse by including us on their current national tour!  We're so lucky that Kurtis Matthews, the CEO of the San Francisco Comedy College, just happens to be one of the featured performers in this great show.  It is an amazing, moving show with lots of laughs along and a few tears -- don't miss them!!

Battle of the Bay 2008 - Starts This Fall!

Laugh your head off and vote for your favorite contenders in this comedy competition, where SFCC comedians will compete for the crown of "Funniest Person at the San Francisco Comedy College"! First prize is $500 and six months' worth of free classes for the winner, $300 and three months' worth of free classes for second place, $200 and a free session for third place with other valuable prizes for the all the finalists.
